Lilac Daydreams

   A sweet little black kitten rests in a lilac-colored rose after an enchanted rain storm.

Inspiration: About two months ago we had a period of soft rainfalls, and for some reason when I closed my eyes I saw a little black kitten sleeping in a sea of lavender roses. I had to wait a few months to paint this piece, but it stuck in my mind and is very special to me for some reason. Rain has always seemd magical to me, so I enjoyed exploring what may be hiding behind a gossamer curtain of raindrops!
