Sailor Boy

   An adorable black and white tuxedo kitten is ready to set sail on the beautiful blue ocean!

Painted in Photoshop, 2011.

Inspiration: I thought it would be cute to paint a little kitten with a toy boat and anchor, and when I sat down to sketch out the piece it evolved into a beach scene with a lighthouse. The toy boat got taken out-- maybe that will be in another nautical cat piece later! This piece was a joy to paint except for the rope... hopefully I don't have to paint rope again in the near future!
