Winter Moon Cat

   A beautiful Birman fairy cat rests on a winter moon in a starry, crystal blue sky.

Inspiration: Since I painted the Moon Pearls cats, I've been wanting to paint more moon cats but with glowing lanterns. I originally planned to paint a fall moon cat first, but after I sketched this one out I knew I needed to paint it right away! This piece came out almost exactly how I originally pictured it, which doesn't often happen. I wanted it to be wintery, but not so much so that you couldn't leave it up year round.
