We always recommend international orders be placed as soon as possible, as there is no guarentee they will arrive in time for Christmas. Domestic orders placed December 12 through December 18 will be shipped via Priority Mail (a flate rate of $5.50 an order). Orders placed December 19 through January 3 will begin shipping after our holiday break, approximately January 7.

Cats- Two new Christmas paintings have been added to our Cats gallery:

- Candy Cane Christmas is a Christmas piece so sweet it may give you cavities!
- Santa Claws features our kitten Bandit playing a little Christmas dress-up.

Products- Because these pieces are so seasonal we've only added them to select products... If there's a piece of jewelry or an accessory you'd like to purchase with one of these paintings and it's not available, just send us an email and we can make it specially for you :)

Cats- Two new paintings have been added to our Cats gallery:

- Winter Twilight is a magical wintery piece that will brighten any grey winter day!
- Sweet Daydreams features a sweet sleeping black kitten in a bed of red roses.

Wall & Tree Ornaments- Our super popular Ornaments gallery has been restocked with beautiful new frame designs. Our new wooden ornaments even come with a stand on the back so they can rest on any surface as well as hang on the wall or tree! Supplies are limited, so be sure to get your ornaments early.

Keychain Charms- Want to carry one of Melissa's adorable kitties with you wherever you go? Now you can with our new Keychain Charms! These lovely and versatile cameo charms will clip onto keychains, zippers, purses- anything you can think of.

Heart Lockets- We are extremely excited to share our newest locket design; these beautiful Heart Lockets are just so sweet and will let you carry your own kitty's picture close to your heart!

Holiday Shipping- It's that time again! The holidays are always busy around here, but our order processing time actually goes down as shipping orders takes the place of new paintings. We always recommend international orders be placed as soon as possible, as there is no guarentee they will arrive in time for Christmas. We estimate that we will not be shipping order placed after December 18 until after our holiday break, approximately January 7. We will update the site with more shipping information as well get closer to December.

Cats- We hope you're ready- we have three brand new paintings for you today!

- Bee Happy features a happy brown tabby kitten whose enjoying the sunshine, sunflowers and some bee friends.
- Autumn Twilight will get you in the mood for fall- nothing says autumn like pumpkins, a twilight lantern, and a curious kitty!
- Blueberry Kitten, the final piece in Melissa's Fruit Kitten series, features a beautiful silver tabby and beautiful blueberries.

Square Compact Mirrors- We've added a gorgeous new compact mirror style, with a larger image and beautiful rounded square design, to our Compact Mirror gallery.

Rectangle Tins- We are super excited to have this new tin style- these large rectangle tins are a terrific 3.5x2.75 inches and really showcase Melissa's art beautifully! Please check out the changes to our Treasure Tins gallery!

Product Changes- We are very happy to announce we have found a supplier of glass cameo cabs, so our Charmed Cameos and Large Lockets now feature this beautiful new type of cab. Glass cabs are flatter, sparklier, more scratch-resistant, and contain a larger image than acrylic cabs, so we know you'll love this change! We've also gotten such good feedback on the epoxy covers we use in our Square Pendants and Round Lockets that our Small Lockets, Cameo Earrings, Mini Cameos, and Crystal Cameos are now made with these epoxy covers as well.

Halloween Orders- Melissa will be visiting her family at the beginning of October, so while you'll be able to order like normal, all orders placed between September 29 and October 10 will begin shipping October 13. That means if you'd like a Halloween print or jewelry, we recommend ordering it in September that way you'll be able to enjoy it for all of October :)

Fairy Cats- Here's the latest Butterfly Kitten piece!
- Butterfly Kittens: Bluebells features a sweet little sleeping black kitten, beautiful blue bell flowers, and vibrant blue butterflies.

Appearances- It's that time of year again... Kent CORNUCOPIA Days!! Melissa will have a booth again this year, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 8-10) on Meeker Street in Kent, WA. We are in space number 19, which we think is our usual spot in front of Browser's Books at 315 W. Meeker St. Please see our Appearances page for more details.

Fairy Cats- Though there aren't any wings, we hope you'll enjoy Melissa's latest kitten, who's more than ready for sunny weather.

Cameo Earrings- We have a brand new earring design in our new Cameo Earrings gallery, which perfectly match our cameo rings. You can also purchase a matching cameo necklace in our new Mini Cameos gallery!

Sales- We have several sales going on right now; our Timepiece Cameos, Storybook Lockets and Greeting Cards are half off, and our Special Edition Necklaces are only $10! These four items will be removed from the website with our next website update and limited quantities are available since we are almost out of stock on these four items.

Licensing- Sweet Pea Stamps has released the second set of Melissa's images as stamps, containing both cats and fairies. Please visit Sweet Pea Stamps to see this new set.

Appearances- Just a reminder, we will have a booth at Petpalooza in Auburn, WA this Saturday from 10am-7pm. Licensing- We are very excited to announce that Melissa has signed with Julie LaDow of Main Line Art & Design. Julie is Melissa's new publishing & licensing agent, and will be representing her in the licensing field from now on.

Coming Soon- Melissa was very sick for two weeks so we're a little behind on our monthly update; she's working on a new painting right now and we hope to release this month's website update with the new painting next week!

Licensing- We are very excited to announce that Melissa has signed with Sweet Pea Stamps, a company that makes large, high quality rubber stamps. These stamps are perfect for creating cards, scrapbooking, and many more creative projects! The first set of four stamps is up with many more to come.
